My first encounter with the ocean was at age 7 at the Jersey shore. It was love at first sight. Later when an art teacher told me to paint what I loved, I headed back to the Shore, north to the rugged coast of Maine, and West to the Pacific and the magnificent Big Sur. Now as a Florida resident living on a barrier island, the ocean continues to delight and intrigue me with its energy, sound, and ever changing mood and color.
All paintings are oil on linen, canvas, or board unless otherwise stated.
